Since joining Purolator in 2019, Paul has focused on strengthening international networks, navigating trade complexity, and helping customers adapt to an increasingly dynamic global supply chain environment. His career has been defined by building resilient, customer-centric supply chains amid geopolitical uncertainty, regulatory change, and evolving consumer expectations. Paul holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto and has served on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Parcel Shipping Association.
About the Topic
In his presentation, "Building Resilient Cross-Border Supply Chains," Paul will delve into the impact of geopolitical instability, shifting trade policies, and regional realignment on global commerce. He will explore how these factors are compelling organizations to rethink their strategies for moving goods across borders. Furthermore, he will highlight the role of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics as critical enablers of resilience, driving smarter network design, predictive risk management, and faster decision-making across complex cross-border environments. Paul will also emphasize the growing importance of sustainability in supply chains. He will discuss how decarbonization, responsible sourcing, and compliance-driven logistics have become essential for long-term competitiveness. By drawing on real-world examples, Paul will share practical strategies for building agile, resilient, and future-ready supply chains that balance speed, cost, compliance, and environmental responsibility in an increasingly uncertain world.
Congratulations to Raju Rajan, honored for ReWild Long Island
ReWild Long Island is dedicated to collaborating with local communities across Long Island to protect and improve the biodiversity,
resilience and health of regional ecosystems. This is achieved by adopting sustainable landscaping practices centered on the use of native plants.
ReWild employs practical demonstrations to engage, educate and inspire the community. For example, our Sustainable Gardens Tour showcases the beauty and practicality of sustainable landscaping. Participants visit various gardens that feature pollinator patches, rain gardens, meadows, and low-maintenance lawns, providing real-life demonstrations of how sustainable practices can be implemented in everyday settings.
ReWild believes that by leading by example, they can persuade more people to adopt sustainable landscaping as a path to climate resilience, biodiversity, clean air and water, and the overall well-being of our Long Island community.
